The Water Rushing Against the Rock

The water rushing against the rock
Smashing into particles of light
Reflecting the infinite blue above
Teaches me of life

The gull in flight like a silent storm
Facing the fierce needles of the winter wind
Pierced by the cold penetrating its feathers
Banks into my life
And teaches me resistance

Pressed to the ground into death
Surrounded by questions like scavengers
Broken-boned and blinded by empty snow
I notice your life touching mine
Teaching me of your suffering
Form which I am reborn once again
